Role Overview

We are seeking an AI QA Automation Engineer who combines strong automation testing expertise with hands-on experience using AI tools, AI-assisted QA workflows, and testing AI-powered applications.

This is not a traditional manual QA role. We are specifically looking for engineers who are AI-driven in their approach to testing, debugging, automation, productivity, and quality engineering.

Candidates with only traditional manual/automation QA experience and no AI exposure will not be a fit for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks

• Build automated test coverage for frontend, backend, APIs, and AI-powered features

• Use AI tools and workflows to improve QA productivity and test coverage

• Test AI-powered product experiences, semantic search, recommendation systems, and AI workflows

• Validate AI outputs, reliability, edge cases, hallucinations, and response quality

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams during feature development

• Identify automation gaps and optimize QA processes using AI-assisted approaches

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of QA automation experience

• Hands-on experience using AI tools/workflows in QA or engineering processes

• Strong experience with automation tools such as:

• Playwright
• Cypress
• Selenium

• Experience testing APIs, web applications, and backend systems

• Experience working with AI-powered products or LLM-based features

• Familiarity with:

• Prompt engineering
• AI-assisted testing
• AI-generated test cases
• AI evaluation workflows
• AI debugging workflows

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

• Strong debugging, analytical, and system-thinking skills

• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing LLM/RAG applications or AI agents

• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Bedrock, or open-source models

• Experience validating AI quality, hallucinations, and response consistency

• Experience working in startup environments with fast release cycles

Important Note

We are building an AI-driven engineering culture and are specifically looking for engineers who actively use AI in their day-to-day QA and automation workflows.

Candidates should be comfortable working with modern AI-assisted development and testing environments rather than traditional QA-only approaches.
