Project Overview:
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our Salesforce-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and project leadership, to define test strategies, build automation frameworks, and execute comprehensive testing plans across multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage test planning, test case design, and execution for Salesforce applications and related services.

Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber.

Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, analyzing and interpreting results to recommend improvements.

Collaborate with Project Managers to align testing activities with delivery milestones and critical paths.

Execute test cases across various functional areas and provide production support testing where required.

Drive CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation, enabling continuous testing and faster feedback.

Work with development teams to identify root causes of defects and propose solutions to prevent recurrence.

Monitor live systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance of production environments.

Ensure consistent test practices across projects and mentor junior team members as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
5+ years of experience in Automation Testing and Quality Engineering.

Expertise in Salesforce testing with a deep understanding of platform limitations and strengths.

Strong experience in building automation solutions using Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber.

Proficiency in JMeter or similar tools for performance testing.

Hands-on experience with network automation, firewalls, datacenter operations, DNS servers, etc.

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation into DevOps practices.

Good command of SQL and database testing techniques.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in complex production environments.

Strong collaboration and communication skills (English proficiency at C1 Advanced level).
Nice to Have:

Knowledge of networking protocols, cloud infrastructure, and security testing.

Relevant certifications in Salesforce, Testing, or Networking.

Experience supporting healthcare or consumer software applications.
