Position Description: We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and modern scripting languages. The ideal candidate should be passionate about test automation, quality assurance, and building scalable testing frameworks.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
• Execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Design and enhance reusable automation frameworks
• Analyse requirements and create test scenarios/test cases
• Identify, track, and report defects
• Perform cross-browser and API testing
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Generate test reports and collaborate with development teams

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must-Have Skills:

Playwright Automation Tool

• Solid experience in building and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright
• Experience with cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
• Familiarity with Playwright Test Runner, fixtures, and parallel execution

TypeScript / JavaScript

• Strong coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• Understanding of asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await)

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Azure DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation integration, and test reporting
• API Testing: Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and automation using Postman or Playwright
