This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manual QA Tester based in India.

This role is focused on ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of a large-scale eCommerce platform through rigorous manual testing practices. You will play a critical part in validating end-to-end user journeys, with a strong emphasis on regression testing and real-world browsing experiences across the top of the funnel. The position is well-suited for a detail-oriented QA professional who understands complex commerce flows and can identify issues before they reach production. You will work closely with existing test cases while also helping strengthen coverage and improve overall testing effectiveness. The environment is structured, collaborative, and tool-driven, with strong reliance on Jira and enterprise-grade test management systems. While the role is primarily manual, there is an expectation to understand automation concepts to contribute to future improvements.

Accountabilities

• Execute heavy regression testing across a large-scale eCommerce platform, ensuring stability across core user journeys and critical workflows.
• Validate end-to-end customer experiences with a strong focus on browsing, discovery, and top-of-funnel functionality.
• Work with existing manual test scripts to execute, maintain, and enhance test coverage where needed.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and Zephyr Enterprise, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and improved release quality.
• Contribute to improving overall test strategy by highlighting gaps in test coverage and suggesting enhancements.
• Gain functional understanding of automation frameworks to support future test optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Manual QA Tester, ideally in eCommerce or large-scale web platforms.
• Strong experience in regression testing and end-to-end validation of complex user journeys.
• Familiarity with HCL Commerce or similar enterprise eCommerce platforms is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience using Jira and Zephyr Enterprise for test case management and defect tracking.
• Good understanding of manual testing methodologies, test case execution, and QA best practices.
• Ability to analyze user flows, especially browsing and top-of-funnel experiences, to identify functional issues.
• Basic awareness of automation testing concepts and willingness to collaborate with automation teams.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and clear communication skills.
