QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Cloud Firewall (CFW) test team. The primary focus is automating WebUI test cases to improve coverage for firewall policy management and security features.

Key Responsibilities

• WebUI Automation: Design and implement end-to-end automated tests for the Cloud Firewall WebUI.
• Framework Integration: Utilize and extend existing automation frameworks such as Playwright, Python, and internal libraries (e.g., pylark, webui-libs).
• Test Coverage: Automate P0/P1 regression cases and validate UI behavior under various feature flag configurations.
• Collaboration: Work with Dev and QE teams to validate API integrations and ensure UI/UX consistency with Figma specifications.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Strong experience in WebUI automation using Python and Playwright (or similar tools like Selenium).
• Testing Knowledge: Proficiency in functional, regression, and sanity testing within a cloud security environment.
• Networking (Plus): Familiarity with networking concepts (L3/L4/L7 policies, TCP/UDP, ICMP, DNS, GRE/IPSec tunnels) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Tools: Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Git workflows.
