Job Overview

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and execution of robust automated testing solutions while ensuring the quality and performance of enterprise-level digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in delivering world-class digital experiences for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for different types of testing (e.g., regression, performance, load, and security).
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify and prioritize test cases suitable for automation.
• Provide accurate test effort estimations using internal automation estimation techniques.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to enable continuous testing.
• Analyze and document test results, identifying trends, issues, and providing detailed defect reports.
• Ensure that automated test coverage aligns with business requirements and technical specifications.
• Maintain a stable, scalable, and reliable automation test environment.
• Stay updated on the latest automation testing tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Assist and mentor manual QA engineers transitioning into automation roles.
• Adhere to and contribute to both automation-specific and general QA best practices.
• Use internal collaboration tools, including AllAi, to enhance learning and testing methodologies.

Required Skills & Competencies

Core Competencies

• Proven experience in QA Automation with a strong foundation in test scripting and execution.
• Deep familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as:
  • Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, Robot Framework, JUnit, TestNG
• Hands-on programming experience in at least one language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD environments.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and reusable automated test scripts.
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Languages

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
