Position: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java + Selenium)

Experience: 4+ Years Experience

Location: Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, Delhi.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9AM - 6PM IST

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong command over Java, Selenium, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation best practices, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality software at speed. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll be building robust, scalable, and high-performance automation frameworks and test suites for complex applications.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable automation test frameworks using Java + Selenium.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.
  • Create and maintain test scripts for UI, API, Integration, and Regression testing.
  • Lead automation efforts from scratch and improve existing test frameworks.
  • Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
  • Ensure optimal test coverage and maintain high quality standards across the product.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in QA Automation with a strong focus on Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Expertise in building custom frameworks from scratch (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD/TDD).
  • Strong understanding of OOPs concepts, Core Java, and design patterns in test automation.
  • Proficient in handling complex DOM structures, dynamic elements, waits, and synchronization.
  • Experience in REST API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
  • Hands-on with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Good exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
  • Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber, Serenity, etc.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and basic database testing.
