This role is ideal for a professional with a solid foundation in software quality assurance and a strong passion for automation. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks to ensure the high performance, reliability, and functionality of our applications. This is a remote opportunity; however, candidates must be residing in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API-based applications

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to define and implement comprehensive test strategies

Analyze test results, identify bugs, and ensure timely resolution through structured communication

Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and QA documentation
-
Set up and manage test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
-
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
-
Perform regression, performance, and integration testing
-
Ensure quality and security compliance across software products
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-
3+ years of total QA experience, with 2+ years focused on automation testing

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or C#

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with Postman, Swagger, or RestAssured

Experience with Git and version control workflows

Ability to thrive in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter
-
Exposure to cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
-
ISTQB or equivalent certification

Familiarity with Azure DevOps Test Plans or other test management tools

Understanding of QA practices in secure and compliance-driven environments
