About Position:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and AI-enabled testing solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, driving quality engineering initiatives, implementing AI-assisted testing capabilities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires hands-on experience in web and API automation, modern testing practices, CI/CD integration, and the adoption of AI tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and other modern automation tools.
• Implement AI-assisted testing solutions for test case generation, script creation, defect prediction, and test optimization.
• Build and maintain API automation frameworks using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent technologies.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Review and validate AI-generated test cases, automation scripts, and defect analysis outputs.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to identify failure patterns, quality risks, and root causes of defects.
• Optimize self-healing automation frameworks to reduce test maintenance efforts and improve reliability.
• Participate in test strategy development, sprint planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
• Support release readiness reviews and quality gate assessments.
• Evaluate emerging AI-enabled testing tools and recommend innovative solutions for quality engineering.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including developers, product owners, DevOps teams, and business analysts.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5-8 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and modern test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Extensive experience in API testing and automation.
• Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle management, and quality assurance principles.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-driven testing tools, self-healing frameworks, or similar AI-enabled solutions.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques for generating test scenarios, scripts, test data, and edge cases.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, including validation of AI outputs, privacy considerations, and hallucination risks.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
• Knowledge of AWS services and testing applications deployed in AWS environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or equivalent test management tools.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to lead automation initiatives and drive continuous quality improvements.
