About the Role

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a QA Engineer (via Employer of Record) located in India to support its mission of delivering high-quality e-commerce software. In this role, you'll work with a global team to ensure software usability and reliability through modern automation tools and agile processes. You’ll test web and mobile applications using Cypress and Appium, ensuring the highest standards of quality for internal and external users.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for web and mobile platforms
  • Implement and maintain test plans, scripts, and test environments
  • Conduct end-to-end testing to validate product enhancements and functionality
  • Identify and troubleshoot defects, collaborating with developers and stakeholders
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with developers, project managers, and UX designers
  • Perform both automated and manual API testing for backend and microservice architectures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years QA experience, or 6+ years equivalent industry experience
  • Strong experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL
  • 2+ years of automation experience using Cypress, with Page Object Model (POM) methodology
  • Mobile automation testing expertise using Appium
  • Familiarity with WebDriver IO, Mocha, and Chai is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (REST, RestAssured) and tools like Postman
  • Experience with test automation tools such as MySQL and Eclipse IDE
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • E-commerce domain experience
  • Familiarity with Selenium and Cucumber
  • Understanding of Agile development practices
  • Background in working with distributed teams across different time zones

Working Hours

  • Standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET)
  • Must ensure 4–5 hours of overlap with U.S. team for collaboration
