Job Title: QA Engineer – Salesforce Testing

Job Overview

Closeloop Technologies is seeking a QA Engineer with specialized experience in Salesforce testing to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce modules including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Experience Cloud, and be adept at both manual and automation testing. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for professionals passionate about ensuring high-performance, bug-free Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and user stories to develop comprehensive test cases for Salesforce modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Experience Cloud.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce features and workflows.
• Validate Lead to Opportunity lifecycle processes including lead conversion and related object verifications.
• Perform CPQ testing such as product selection, pricing rules, quote generation, and approval workflows.
• Verify Case to Quote flows in Service Cloud, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Conduct detailed Experience Cloud portal testing: UI/UX, access control, user permissions, and workflows.
• Validate customizations (objects, workflows, flows, Apex triggers, UI components) within Salesforce.
• Perform API integration testing between Salesforce and external systems using tools like Postman.
• Log and manage bugs using Jira or Azure DevOps, tracking resolution and coordinating retests.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in UAT cycles, guiding business users and documenting feedback.
• Contribute to automation strategy by identifying and automating repeatable test cases using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or TestNG.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce testing.
• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Experience Cloud.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, standard/custom objects, workflows, process builders, flows, and Apex triggers.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or TestNG.
• Experience using test management and issue tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Administrator, App Builder).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integrations.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Experience with AI-powered testing platforms such as Testim or Functionize.
