About the Role
Abekus is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the delivery of reliable and scalable software. In this fully remote role, you'll work closely with developers and product managers, contributing to both manual and automated testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities

Design and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements.

Build and maintain automation scripts using Python or Java.

Identify, report, and track bugs to resolution.

Collaborate with engineers to understand features and technical implementations.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Improve QA processes, tools, and frameworks continuously.
Qualifications

Hands-on experience in automation testing (Python or Java).

Solid foundation in manual testing and test case development.

Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and excellent communication.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have

Experience with Selenium, PyTest, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
