Role Overview As a Senior QA Engineer with 10-15 years of experience, you will be instrumental in upholding and elevating the quality standards of our diverse product portfolio. This role involves leading end-to-end quality assurance efforts, from strategic planning and test architecture design to hands-on execution and automation. You will collaborate closely with product managers, development teams, and other QA professionals, acting as a quality advocate throughout the software development lifecycle. Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability, performance, and user satisfaction of our products, ensuring seamless delivery to our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex software systems, ensuring thorough coverage and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation testing frameworks and scripts across various platforms, significantly enhancing testing efficiency and regression coverage.
• Conduct in-depth manual testing for intricate functionalities, edge cases, and user experience flows, identifying critical defects and ensuring product stability.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering their technical growth and promoting best practices in Software Quality Assurance within the team.
• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and provide timely feedback on product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process, evaluating new tools, methodologies, and technologies to optimize quality assurance efforts and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Oversee defect management processes, ensuring accurate reporting, tracking, and timely resolution of issues to maintain high product quality standards.
• Champion a culture of quality throughout the organization, advocating for quality-first approaches in design, development, and deployment.

Required Skillset

• Demonstrated mastery in Software Quality Assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
• Exceptional proficiency in Automation Testing, including extensive experience with industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium) for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Strong expertise in Manual Testing techniques, including exploratory, functional, integration, and system testing, with an acute eye for detail and user experience.
• Advanced ability to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for complex, large-scale applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the capacity to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders across distributed teams.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, capable of guiding and inspiring other QA professionals to achieve high performance.
• Adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, often across multiple time zones, supporting a remote-first or hybrid work model across various locations in India.
