QA Engineer

Job Title: Intermediate QA Engineer – Python, Selenium (Contract)

Job Overview:

Cerebraix Technologies is seeking a skilled Intermediate Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in Python, Selenium, and test automation tools to join our QA team for a 3-month contract (with remote flexibility). The role focuses on developing test plans, executing both automated and manual testing, and ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Design and lead the execution of comprehensive test plans covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Automation Testing: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and PyTest.
• Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing to uncover hidden defects and verify the end-to-end user experience.
• Performance Testing: Use tools like JMeter to test system performance, load, and scalability.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Quality Standards: Uphold best practices in QA processes and ensure that deliverables meet established quality benchmarks.
• Reporting: Generate test reports and communicate findings and recommendations to the development and leadership teams.
• Documentation: Maintain test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, defect logs, and execution reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 4 years of professional experience in QA, including automation and manual testing.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, and PyTest
  • Experience with JMeter for performance/load testing
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and lifecycle
  • Terraform experience is a plus
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to share PAN, Aadhar, and Passport copies (required for client interviews).
• Open to a remote, contract-based role (3-month duration, potential for extension).
