Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) and Selenium (Java).

Enhance existing automation frameworks with modular design and performance optimization.
-
Create and execute BDD scenarios using Cucumber.
-
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across web apps, APIs, and microservices.

Collaborate in Agile teams (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives).
-
Troubleshoot test failures using tools like Postman, Grafana, etc.
-
Document test results and bugs using Jira and Confluence.
-
Build CI/CD integrations with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
-
Use Git for version control and manage code quality through pull requests.
-
Mentor junior QA engineers and evaluate new tools for test automation.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years in software testing, with 3+ years in automation.

Experience creating test plans, configuring environments, and generating test data.

Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Hands-on with tools and frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, Postman, JMeter, Grafana.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4j), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).

Exposure to SAST/DAST tools, security standards, and compliance.

Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Strong analytical, communication, and debugging skills.
