Job Overview

This role is ideal for a QA professional with 3–4 years of experience in manual testing, basic automation, and project management using tools like Jira. As a QA Lead, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high product standards across multiple initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely product releases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA activities across multiple concurrent projects

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to define testing requirements and project timelines

Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases

Identify, document, and manage defects using Jira
-
Perform thorough manual regression testing and bug verification

Implement and maintain basic automation scripts to support test efficiency

Optimize and manage Jira workflows for bug tracking and project tracking

Analyze QA metrics and generate Jira reports to identify trends and process improvements

Prioritize testing tasks, manage team workload, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
Qualifications

3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance

Proven ability to lead QA efforts across multiple projects

Strong skills in manual testing with a keen eye for detail

Working knowledge of automation tools and scripting

Proficiency in Jira for project and defect management

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

ISTQB certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a QA Manager or leadership role

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning

Basic understanding of programming languages used in test automation (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java)
