About the Role

Strong experience in test automation using Python (must-have):

Responsibilities

• Writing robust, maintainable test frameworks and libraries.
• REST API test automation (e.g., requests, pytest, etc.)
• Working with JSON, YAML, and configuration-driven tests.
• Solid understanding of networking basics: TCP/UDP, IP routing, and load balancing concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux networking tools (tcpdump, netstat, ip, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with packet captures (PCAPs) is a strong advantage: Using Wireshark/tshark or similar tools to analyse traffic.
• Ability to follow flows end-to-end and spot protocol-level issues.
• Exposure to Telco / mobile networking (nice to have but highly desirable): GTP-C / GTP-U, PGW/SGW concepts.
• Roaming hub/connectivity hub architectures.
• Understanding of IMSI, APN, GRX/IPX environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control: Git (Bitbucket/GitHub).
• Integrating automated tests into pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab, etc.).
• QA Skills Test design and coverage (functional, regression, integration, negative testing).
• Defect investigation and root cause collaboration with developers/NetOps.
• Working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Testmo or similar).
• Ability to write clear test cases, defect reports, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

Nice-to-Have Experience in any of:

• GTP Director or similar GTP/GGSN/PGW proxies.
• Kubernetes/Docker-based environments.
• Observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.).
• Familiarity with: Telecom standards (3GPP basics).
• Radius/Diameter, VoLTE/IMS, or other Telco protocols.
• Prior experience in a Telco, roaming hub, or connectivity provider environment.

Required Skills

Strong experience in test automation using Python (must-have).

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Telco / mobile networking (nice to have but highly desirable).
