Job Overview
Gravity Infosolutions is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with expertise in functional testing, API testing, Selenium automation, and performance testing using JMeter. This is a contractual role with the opportunity to work on impactful digital transformation projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet high engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Functional Testing

Design and execute detailed test cases to validate application functionality.

Log, document, and track defects using test management tools.

Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure timely defect resolution and product quality.
🔗 API Testing

Develop and execute test scenarios to validate REST/SOAP APIs.

Verify data exchanges across software components.

Troubleshoot API-related issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
🤖 Test Automation (Selenium)

Create, maintain, and execute Selenium automation test scripts for regression and functional testing.

Use Java-based automation frameworks and adopt industry best practices.

Integrate automation results into the test reporting process.
🚀 Performance Testing (JMeter)

Design and execute performance test plans using JMeter.

Analyze performance data, detect bottlenecks, and propose performance optimizations.

Report performance benchmarks and collaborate on enhancements.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

6–8 years of proven experience in:

Manual functional testing
-
API testing (Postman, REST/SOAP)
-
Selenium automation (with Java)
-
JMeter performance testing
-
Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and QA best practices.

Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
