Software Testing / QA Engineer

• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and backend applications to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and clarify gaps with product and engineering teams.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and regression suites.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, smoke, and regression testing throughout the SDLC.
• Validate APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or automation frameworks.
• Use SQL to validate backend data, perform data integrity checks, and support defect analysis.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar bug‑tracking systems; collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Support release readiness by providing clear test reports, defect metrics, and quality insights.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, on‑time product releases.
