Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to design and execute testing strategies across frontend and backend systems.

Our stack includes TypeScript, Next.js, React, ElysiaJS, PostgreSQL, and testing tools such as Playwright and k6.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) tests using Playwright
• Implement and execute integration and unit testing strategies
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and overall code quality
• Build and maintain automated test pipelines in CI/CD environments
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where appropriate
• Develop and run performance and load tests using k6
• Validate APIs, services, and database interactions with PostgreSQL
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript or JavaScript testing ecosystems
• Hands-on experience with Playwright tools
• Solid understanding of E2E, integration, and unit testing methodologies
• Experience testing React and Next.js applications
• Familiarity with backend and API testing (Node.js frameworks such as ElysiaJS preferred)
• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience working with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Experience with test reporting and observability tools
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments
• Knowledge of contract testing or API schema validation
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Strong automated test coverage across critical user journeys
• Stable and maintainable test suites
• Early detection of defects before production
• Improved application performance and reliability
