About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, API testing, test case design, and defect tracking.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirements and prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman and validate REST APIs.
  • Test web applications across browsers and mobile applications across devices.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools.
  • Perform database validation using SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and release checklists.
  • Contribute to automation testing and continuous improvement of QA processes.


Required Skills
  • 2–4 years of experience in software QA and testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case preparation.
  • Practical experience with Postman, REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP status codes.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other defect-tracking tools.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for database testing.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Good to Have
  • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Experience testing Flutter, React Native, or other mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing tools.


Education

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.


Work Requirements
  • Must be available to work on-site from our Ahmedabad, Gujarat office.
  • Should be comfortable collaborating closely with development and product teams.
  • Must be able to take ownership of testing activities and meet release timelines.
