Hennessey Digital, a leading search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing agency in North America, is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated QA Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate for this role is a consummate team player who has an eye for detail, is self-driven, has a problem-solving mindset, and has at least two (2) years of QA engineering experience. We are a fully remote and highly collaborative team of digital marketing thought leaders located all over the country. We provide white-glove service to our clients, and we’re looking for a thoughtful team member who can ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy. We’re a rapidly growing company; it’s important that you have an entrepreneurial attitude, an embracing mindset toward change, and can manage/prioritize multiple concurrent projects.The desired candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, be familiar with quality assurance skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced atmosphere. The QA Analyst is responsible for identifying errors, patterns, and offering solutions, including documentation and training, to systemic issues. They will also perform tests and report on metrics to monitor to ensure efforts are improving the overall quality of our work and product. Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesActively participates in the identification and implementation of errors and solutions related to common errors.Reviews all work completed prior to giving live for clientsWork with the manager to create effective standard operating procedures and other training materials as needed to support SEO effortsWorks within HD’s quality control checker.Gather and monitor performance metrics for quality control measuresContribute to training efforts and assist in developing training content as needed to correct common issuesCreate and utilize detailed QA Checklists and provide detailed feedbackCreate and run reports on quality metricsAnalyze bugs and errors found during system tests, such as the HD QA system checkMaintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements ExperienceAt least two (2) years of experience in a professional quality control environment or comparable experience within HDSearch Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledgeStrong editorial judgmentConfidence to be able to stop work and consult on issuesExperience working with content management systems; WordPress a plusExperience with QA Automation tools and testing platforms, such as Selenium, is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong eye for detail Ability to prioritize issues across many different projects with different importance levelsProficiency in English Degrees, Licensure, and/or CertificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year… more
