Role Description The SDET - JR role at LogAI is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. In this role, the team member will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for back-end services and APIs, ensuring the reliability and performance of LogAIβs platform. Responsibilities include collaborating with software engineers to understand requirements, writing clean and efficient test code, participating in code reviews, and identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting defects. The role also involves creating and executing test plans, contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and supporting the improvement of overall software quality and development processes. The SDET - JR will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable releases and a robust user experience.
Qualifications
- Solid grasp of manual testing fundamentals: test case design, functional testing, regression testing, defect logging
- Basic understanding of how software applications work β APIs, front-end/back-end interaction.
- Exposure to at least one programming language (Java, Python, or similar) is a plus, even without automation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Comfortable on-site in a collaborative team, with clear written and verbal communicationDetail-oriented and methodical β genuinely curious about how things break
- Interest in AI-driven products and openness to growing into automation over time
