The Senior QA automation engineer we are looking for is a developer with a keen sense for finding weak spots in products and has a strong understanding of how to achieve comprehensive test coverage. A successful candidate will lead the efforts to design and implement a QA Automation strategy for our solutions. The candidate will work with their team to develop this strategy and to introduce and implement a robust test automation solution. As part of a small team, you will have an immediate and measurable impact on our fast-growing business by helping us reach the next level and stage of growth. The Senior QA Automation will be responsible for

• Refining requirements and translating them into designs,
• Developing automated QA solutions to satisfy business needs,
• Implementing solutions in a timely manner,
• Mentoring and helping junior team members

Requirements

Strong experience and knowledge in

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Hands on experience designing and implementing a test automation strategy
• Back-end and web application development experience
• SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and database design knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of experience with Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience working on QA automation
• Experience working in an agile (scrum) software development team
• Hands on experience in working with SQL queries
• Hands on experience in automating API testing (REST, SOAP)
• Hands on programming experience in C# and Javascript
• Experience with the latest tools and industry best practices
• In-depth knowledge of QA concepts, test frameworks and automation tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and curiosity.
• Experience with understanding business use cases
• Open minded, easy to communicate with, team player, able to learn quickly, able to work both independently and as a member of a team
