Senior QA Engineer

Who You Are

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer with deep manual testing instincts. You'll be the person who finds what automated tests miss — exploring edge cases, thinking like a user, and pushing our clients' products to their limits before real users do. Automation is a tool in your kit, not the focus of the job. This is a high-ownership role for someone who takes pride in shipping software that actually works.

What You'll Do

• Own manual testing across front-end and back-end systems for multiple client engagements
• Design and execute thorough test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing sessions
• Own regression testing and validate bug fixes end-to-end before releases ship
• Perform root cause analysis to surface and document issues clearly for engineering teams
• Partner with engineers, PMs, and designers to define quality standards from the start of each project
• Document defects with precision and follow them through to resolution
• Support the setup and maintenance of automated test scripts for repeatable workflows
• Continuously raise the bar on QA processes across the team

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with a strong manual testing foundation
• Proven ability to write detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports
• Experience working across web front-end and back-end systems
• Familiarity with at least one automation framework (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Jest) — you don't need to be an automation engineer, but you can hold your own
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight
• Strong written communication — you surface issues clearly and document well

Preferred Qualifications

• API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured)
• Performance or load testing background
• Familiarity with GCP, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines
