Job Overview

Cloud Software Group is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our TIBCO Streaming team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll drive both manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based products. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing to validate product functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
  • Execute regression test cycles, review test results, and debug issues efficiently.
  • Log and track defects, ensuring timely and effective resolution through collaboration with developers.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
  • Review and contribute to technical documentation, ensuring clarity and testability.
  • Define and implement test strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and release readiness.
  • Gain working knowledge of cloud platforms to validate and test cloud-based features and deployments.
  • Monitor and enhance test automation to adapt to changing requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional QA experience with solid exposure to both manual and automation testing.
  • Deep understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle processes.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
  • Proficient in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Git and GitHub.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Strong API testing skills using Postman, SoapUI, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
