Job Overview
IOWeb3 Technologies is seeking experienced and detail-oriented ETL Senior Test Engineers with strong QA expertise and a deep understanding of Informatica, ETL testing, and automation frameworks. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in the banking domain, and a hands-on approach to managing upstream/downstream data validations, file manipulations, and integration testing across APIs and batch processes.
You will work closely with our data engineering, QA, and development teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance across systems. The ideal candidate has a strong command of Unix-based tools, is proficient in Java/Selenium automation, and brings a passion for delivering high-quality, resilient data-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities

Perform ETL testing for data pipelines, data flows, and batch processes using Informatica.

Validate data movement and transformations between upstream and downstream applications.

Conduct file-level validation for various data formats (e.g., delimited, fixed-width, binary).

Leverage tools like WinSCP, Putty, and Autosys for process validation and test execution in Unix environments.

Execute API and web services testing, identifying issues in both batch and online systems.

Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium for regression and integration scenarios.

Contribute to CI/CD test strategies and implement BDD-driven testing practices.

Ensure consistent and structured test documentation, defect reporting, and result analysis.

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other QA engineers to improve overall product quality.
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.

Hands-on expertise in Informatica and ETL pipeline validation.

Strong understanding of Unix/Linux command-line operations and scripting.

Experience in testing web services, APIs, and batch job execution.

Proficient in Java and Selenium for automation testing.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and BDD testing methodologies.

Comfortable working with diverse data file types and formats.

Prior experience in banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
