🚀 Hiring: Senior SDET – AI-Augmented Test Automation

We’re looking for a Senior SDET who goes beyond writing automated test scripts. We need a test framework/platform builder who can architect scalable automation, establish strong quality guardrails, and bring AI-assisted and agentic testing into the engineering workflow.

You’ll own the foundation that other test engineers build on—combining Playwright + TypeScript, CI/CD, API testing, AI/LLM-driven testing, and MCP-based tooling to make testing more dynamic, scalable, and reliable.

What You’ll Do

• Design and own a scalable UI automation framework using Playwright + TypeScript
• Build framework guardrails around linting, coding standards, review gates, flaky-test policies, and safe-to-merge checks
• Define reusable patterns for locators/selectors, test data, and environment configuration
• Build and maintain E2E and API automation suites
• Integrate automated testing into GitHub Actions / CI/CD pipelines
• Develop AI-assisted testing capabilities, including LLM-generated exploratory tests, agentic testing flows, and self-healing locators
• Integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers/tools so AI agents can interact with applications, APIs, and test data
• Establish validation and review guardrails for AI-generated tests
• Evaluate emerging AI testing tools and bring effective approaches into the core framework
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to drive shift-left testing
• Debug failures across UI, API, environment, pipeline, and AI-generated test layers
• Mentor test engineers on automation patterns and framework best practices
• Lead automation code reviews and contribute to test architecture decisions

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience
• At least 2+ years designing/architecting test automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright + TypeScript/JavaScript
• Proven experience building scalable E2E automation frameworks, not just writing tests within an existing framework
• Experience implementing automation guardrails such as CI gating, flaky-test management, and test-code review standards
• Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted or agentic testing, such as:
• LLM-based test generation
• AI-driven exploratory testing
• Self-healing locators
• Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar coding agents
• Working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or comparable agent/tool-calling patterns—or strong aptitude to learn it quickly
• Experience with GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tooling
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar
• Good understanding of SPA architectures such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript, Git, debugging, and code-review skills
• Experience mentoring/enabling other test engineers
