Job Description:

Appinventiv is looking for a Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and defects.
• Create and execute test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the testing process.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers and team members to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure applications meet quality standards.
• Maintain test documentation and share testing reports with the team.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Knowledge of test case design, bug reporting, and defect life cycles.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing is an advantage.
• Understanding of automation testing tools such as Selenium is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies.

Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
