Test Automation Engineer - Playwright (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of QA methodologies, test automation best practices, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for web applications
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in software testing and automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
