About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead / QA Framework Lead to drive end-to-end automation strategy, framework development, and delivery excellence. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, along with proven leadership in managing teams and engaging with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Leadership

• Define and drive an automation-first strategy across projects
• Provide thought leadership on framework design, tool selection, and best practices
• Establish scalable and reusable automation frameworks aligned to business needs
• Champion Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing approaches

Framework Development & Engineering

• Design and implement robust frameworks using Java, Python & Robot Framework
• Develop Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, and Page Object Model (POM) based frameworks
• Ensure framework scalability, maintainability, and reusability across applications

End-to-End Automation Delivery

• Lead automation across UI, API, and Database layers
• Drive test automation lifecycle from planning to execution and reporting
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

Team Management & Mentorship

• Lead and manage a team of automation engineers
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring
• Drive capability building and upskilling initiatives

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for automation initiatives
• Define roadmap, present metrics & ROI to leadership
• Align automation strategy with business and delivery goals

Quality & Governance

• Define KPIs and metrics for automation effectiveness
• Implement risk-based testing approaches
• Ensure compliance with enterprise QA standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years in QA with a strong focus on test automation
• Expertise in Java and Python-based automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework
• Strong knowledge of Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven frameworks & POM design pattern
• Experience in UI, API, and DB testing
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools — Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Proven team leadership and stakeholder management

Good to Have

• Selenium | Cypress | Playwright | Tricentis Tosca
• Performance testing — JMeter, Locust
• Cloud-based testing environments (AWS / Azure)
• AI-driven automation (self-healing, intelligent test selection)
• Enterprise apps — Salesforce, Workday, ERP
• US Healthcare / Pharma domain — HUB, Claims, Prior Auth, HIPAA
