About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Playwright Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality, validating application functionality, and supporting continuous delivery through automated testing and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Build scalable, reusable, and reliable test automation frameworks.
• Develop automated test suites for:
• Smoke Testing (site availability, HTTPS validation, basic navigation)
• Critical business workflows and user journeys
• Regression and release validation testing
• Execute automated tests locally and through CI/CD pipelines.
• Support parallel test execution and optimize test performance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot test failures to identify:
• Application defects
• Infrastructure/configuration issues
• Environment-specific behavior changes
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Maintain automation documentation, test reports, and dashboards.
• Continuously improve automation framework stability and execution efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with Playwright .NET or Java is an added advantage.
• Experience in end-to-end automation testing for modern web applications.
• Strong understanding of:
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Browser behavior and rendering concepts
• HTTP/HTTPS protocols and web communication
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as:
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions
• Jenkins
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to create robust and resilient automation scripts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
