QA Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems through rigorous testing, automation, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development and SRE teams to maintain high system availability and improve overall service quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies focused on system reliability, performance, and resilience.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with SRE, Dev, and DevOps teams to define and validate SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Perform chaos testing and fault injection to validate system robustness.
• Analyze system metrics, logs, and monitoring data to identify potential issues and risks.
• Ensure quality in CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing and validation processes.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies aligned with SRE best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, ideally with SRE principles knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e. g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e. g., JMeter, k6 Gatling).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP ideally).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e. g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e. g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e. g., Python, JavaScript, Go).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
