🚀 QA Engineer (2+ Years of Experience)

As a QA Engineer, you will own the quality and reliability of AI-powered developer tools used to accelerate system software development. You'll work closely with engineering teams to build scalable test infrastructure, automate critical workflows, and ensure production-grade reliability across backend systems, AI pipelines, web applications, and developer tools.

This role requires strong automation expertise, a systems-thinking mindset, and a passion for building quality processes from the ground up.

🧩 What You'll Do

Build and maintain automated test suites across backend services and distributed systems

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates for production releases

Own the complete testing strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing layers

Test REST APIs, authentication systems, permissions, billing workflows, and core platform services

Validate asynchronous workflows, background jobs, and complex system lifecycle scenarios

Design and execute RBAC, access control, and permission boundary testing

Build evaluation frameworks to benchmark retrieval quality and AI system performance

Develop regression testing pipelines for LLM workflows, model routing, token tracking, and AI outputs

Test web applications, developer tooling, IDE extensions, and CLI-based products

Perform cross-browser testing, accessibility validation, and usability verification

Own pre-production release validation and production readiness testing

Maintain testing environments and release processes across cloud and on-prem deployments

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve critical issues

✅ You're a Great Fit If You

Have 2+ years of experience in QA Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation

Have hands-on experience building automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integrations

Are proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Java for automation and testing

Have experience testing APIs, backend systems, and distributed applications

Understand software development lifecycles, release management, and quality assurance best practices

Have worked with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar engineering platforms

Can design comprehensive test plans covering functionality, reliability, and scalability

Have strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Communicate effectively with engineering and product teams

Enjoy taking ownership and building quality processes in fast-moving startup environments
