Job Description: 

Quality Assurance Analyst - Tee Times

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be working with our Development, QA, and Product teams to provide QA testing of our web based tee sheet solution. This team member is pivotal in enhancing our software user’s online experiences.

We are looking for someone who is action-oriented, self-disciplined, highly organized and process-driven. In this position, you will need to be able to multitask between small ticket items and long term projects seamlessly, learn on-the-fly (specifically items that may be technically oriented), and be able to adapt to change. Ideal candidates are capable of working with little direction at times and explore/test our software as a user would.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases (both manual and automated) to identify software defects and ensure functionality meets requirements.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to gain understanding of specs.
• Perform testing on various browsers and devices to simulate administrative and end user actions.
• Document and report defects clearly and accurately, including steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity/priority.
• Performing regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities remain unaffected after new changes.
• Contribute to the design of test plans, test cases and create/maintain test scripts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test results, defects, and resolutions
• Continuously learn and develop QA best practices, testing methodologies, and tools.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience testing web-based applications
• Experience with reservation systems
• Experinece in API testing
• Can effectively cope with change/ambiguity and shift gears comfortably
• Strong organizational skills: uses resources effectively and efficiently arranges information and files in a useful manner.
• Strong perseverance: pursues everything with energy, drive, and a need to finish; seldom gives up before finishing.
• Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment. Is good at learning new technical knowledge through taking their own initiatives.
• Strong time management: uses time effectively and efficiently concentrating efforts on most important priorities.
