You will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks, leading cross-functional quality initiatives, and ensuring our microservices-based, cloud-native systems are rigorously tested across UI, API, and data layers. Key Responsibilities

Design & Implement Test Automation Frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and other modern tools

Architect and maintain scalable, CI/CD-ready automation solutions integrated into our microservice and cloud (AWS) infrastructure

Mentor QA and Development teams, promoting test automation best practices and fostering a culture of quality

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and Analysts to ensure QA is embedded across the SDLC

Develop test strategies spanning UI testing, API validation, end-to-end workflows, and data integrity checks

Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to reduce test cycle time and increase coverage

Implement and manage traceability tools such as TestRail, Jira, or Azure DevOps

Lead the continuous improvement of QA methodologies, tools, and team capabilities

Clearly communicate test results, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders at all levels
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise

5+ years in QA Automation, with at least 2 years hands-on experience using Playwright

Solid programming skills in TypeScript and Java

Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent

Strong experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured)

Solid grasp of data validation and backend/database testing (SQL)

Proficient in CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS

Experience using AI tools to optimize test execution and QA productivity
Leadership & Process

Proven track record of leading QA automation teams

Demonstrated experience designing test architectures across multiple successful projects

Knowledge of DevOps practices and test lifecycle integration

Hands-on experience with test management and traceability tools: TestRail, Zephyr, Jira, or Azure DevOps

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC processes, and quality metrics reporting
Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
