Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA efforts across multiple platforms including web applications, VS Code extensions, APIs, and AI tools

Own test strategy, planning, and execution at the sprint and release levels

Drive and implement regression, smoke, and sanity testing cycles

Define and enforce pre-release and post-release QA checklists

Establish and maintain a structured bug triaging and prioritization system for hotfix and major releases

Build and optimize test automation pipelines for web and plugin environments
-
Integrate automation frameworks and QA checks into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
-
Track and report key quality metrics: test coverage, defect density, root cause analysis
-
Ensure QA practices are aligned with SOC 2 compliance for release/change management

Mentor junior testers, assign QA tasks, and lead the QA team performance cycle
Skills & Qualifications

Extensive experience in Manual Testing for web applications, APIs, and developer tools

Proven success in leading QA teams including mentoring, performance tracking, and resource planning

Expertise in QA methodologies: test planning, regression, smoke, and sanity testing

Hands-on experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks

Proficient in REST API testing with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, etc.

Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar

Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements related to QA and release management

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
