Job Overview
SegWitz is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software QA Tester to join our remote-first QA team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our software products through thorough manual and automated testing, collaborative problem solving, and active participation across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze system specifications and understand product requirements

Collaborate with Project Managers and developers to craft robust test plans and strategies

Execute and document test cases (manual and/or automated)

Evaluate product code to verify alignment with specifications

Log detailed documentation of test cycles, bugs, and errors

Report and track issues, helping the dev team with effective bug resolution

Assist in post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure quality in production

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent QA process throughout the SDLC
Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in software QA/testing

Proven track record as a QA Tester or similar quality-focused role

Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Experience working within Agile frameworks and regression testing environments is a plus

Strong ability to document test cases and troubleshoot issues effectively

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong analytical mindset and a high level of attention to detail

Well-organized, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Tools & Knowledge

Bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)

Test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)

Automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) – a plus

Familiarity with post-release verification and continuous testing practices
